Shipping and Delivery information:
At barebirch, we make every effort to deliver your purchase with superior service, flexibility and attention to detail, every time. Currently we only offer shipping of smaller items via courier services or Canada Post, with low rates based on your delivery area.
Shipping of bigger items via barebirch directly or a white glove service is available upon request. We will provide you with a personal quote for each individual shipment.
barebirch is currently only shipping within Canada.
Small items: Shipping charges as indicated at checkout.
Big items: Will have the description “in-store purchase only” on the item level. Please inquire via email or the contact form about delivery charges.
Gift certificates: Free shipping unless expedited shipment is requested. There is a $5 charge for next-day (subject to service availability in your delivery area).
An additional charge will be applied to your order when it is confirmed noting all applicable combined federal and provincial sales tax rates based upon the location to which the order is being shipped.

Your credit card will be charged at the time of checkout. Additional shipping surcharges may apply to some large and heavy items. This amount is listed at the item level on the individual item product detail page and will be added to your delivery charges before checkout.
All prices online and in-store are in Canadian dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to provincial or national laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we must reserve the right to restrict orders of those items.
Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations Policy:
Your shipment was carefully packed and thoroughly inspected before shipment. We ask, that you inspect your delivery and provide a signature upon receipt. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must be made to barebirch as follows.
a) Visible Damage or Loss: Any exterior loss or damage must be noted on the proof of delivery / delivery note / freight bill upon receipt and signed by the courier’s / carrier’s agent. Failure to adequately describe such external evidence may result in the carrier refusing to honor a claim. Please contact barebirch immediately. Save all packaging materials and the damaged piece. Please take (a) picture(s) with a camera / smart phone to support the claim.
b) Concealed Damage or Loss: Concealed damage or loss is that which does not become apparent until the merchandise has been unpacked. If such occurs it is imperative that you notify barebirch immediately. Save all packaging materials and the damaged piece. Please take (a) picture(s) with a camera / smart phone to support the claim.
c) Customers are expected to save ALL packing materials and the damaged piece(s).
(d) Any defects, faults, or damage must be reported within 7 calendar days of receipt of goods.
(e) The customer will be required to provide detailed photographs of the damaged merchandise and packaging.
(f) If damage warrants a replacement, one will be provided as available.
(i) Replacement will be sent to the original ship to address.
(ii) Damaged piece must be packed and ready for pick up when replacement is delivered. (iii) Items that have been altered from their original state cannot be returned.
(g) barebirch will not be responsible for items with normal wear and tear.
(h) It is up to the discretion of the barebirch customer service team to decide the best solution for defective and damaged merchandise.
(i) All repairs and replacement orders must be approved by barebirch. Placing an order for a replacement piece/part(s) or having repairs made without authorization from barebirch provides just cause for a claim to be null and void.
(j) Cancellations must be approved by a member of the barebirch staff, and must be sent in writing via email or mail. If an item is cancelled after shipment, the customer is responsible for all freight charges for that item, and will be charged a minimum restocking fee of 15% of the cost of the item.
